#5Books1Theme Virus Outbreaks

Coronavirus hysteria is seemingly everywhere right now so I thought I would post a tongue-in-cheek topical 5 Books 1 Theme collection for March. These five thrilling European novels all centre around a virus outbreak and its aftermath.

Have you read any of these five books? If so, what did you think of them? What's your favourite virus outbreak thriller?

  1. I've read some pretty scary pandemic books! Everyone needs to be on alert for any sign of zombies...

    1. They're all pretty different from each other, and good stories that I enjoyed reading :-)

  3. Station Eleven is an outbreak story? I have had that one on my tbr list and I still didn't know that :P I haven't actually read many outbreak thrillers -- mostly I read zombie books which I guess is technically a different kind of outbreak? Maybe? :P

    1. Station Eleven is mostly set in the time after an outbreak took places and has flashbacks to the disaster. There's a scene with an aeroplane landing which, while it isn't at all graphic, just really hit me as to what pandemics like the current Covid-19 could entail.
