A Month In Books - June 2020

Welcome to June's Month In Books roundup!
The world is still weird and getting weirder. Thank goodness I still have lots of books in which to hide.

Regular blog series:

In June I blogged a European WorldReads from Romania. This month's Cover Characteristics collection featured Glasses and my 5 Books, 1 Theme quintet were all Novels About Artists because I've found, this year, I'm appreciating the arts even more than usual. I also shared my favourite Bookish Etsy Finds.
I'm now up to date on State of the ARC which I am very pleased about and was even fairly restrained on my book hauling.

Now, on with this Reading Roundup!
I have linked up with Nicole's WrapUpRoundUp over at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

I had three strong contenders for my Book Of The Month. Honorable mentions go to Secrets We Kept by Krystal A Sital and Down And Out In Paris And London by George Orwell, both memoirs and both of which are brilliant. Just pipping them to the prize is Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, ancient Roman Stoic philosophy that I felt could have been written just for me!

I hope you have found some books to tempt you in this selection! You can keep up with my daily book posts on Literary Flits plus there's now loads of Book Spotlights and Cover Reveals blogged on Stephanie Jane. Don't forget to keep up with my Giveaway Listings too!
